單字概述與用法
probably的基本語意為很可能，強調是根據證據或邏輯推斷出是可能。注意probably的位置跟頻率副詞的位置一樣，在be動詞後面、普通動詞前面、還有第一個助動詞後面。
這個字來自形容詞probable，形容詞語意為很可能的、大概。在形容詞加上ly變成副詞 probably (形容詞字尾able，變成副詞為ably)。
Probably跟possibly的差別：
- probably 機率很高，幾乎到100%，如果我們透過觀察或分析等方法，有足夠的證據判斷事件有極大、甚至確定會發生時，就使用這組副詞。
- possibly 單純只表達一件事有可能發生，但因為沒有足夠資料做進一步的評估，所以對自己的猜測也沒有太大的把握
