單字概述與用法
beside只有一個詞性 - 介系詞，意思為在...的旁邊、和...無關、和...相比。
請注意：beside容易跟besides混淆，字尾多了一個s，意義差很大。有s的besides有兩個詞性。當副詞時，語意為而且、除此之外還有，用以引出另一個情況或作補充。當介系詞時，用在肯定句中，表示除了擁有句中所說內容之外，還包括besides後面的內容在內; 用在否定句或疑問句中，則指只擁有besides後面的內容。
